Call a Veterinarian that has Instant Response Blood Laboratory Testing Equipment.  If your Pet has Urinary Tract Disease Take Note:  Urinary Tract Disease Can Kill An Animal within 24 hours.  You should always seek immediate attention if you see your Dog or Cat urinating abnormally with weakness and licking of genitilia.  DO NOT WAIT TO SEE IF THIS CLEARS UP BY ITSELF...YOU MAY NOT HAVE TIME TO SAVE THE ANIMAL'S LIFE!  SEE A VETERIANRIAN IMMEDIATELY!  Ask the Veterinarian to take a 1.  Blood Urea Nitrogen, 2.  Red Cell Count, 3.  White Cell Count, and to 4.  Perform a Heart Auscultation checking for Arythmia, Murmurs, etc.  5.  Liver Palpation.  If your Dog, Cat or Ferret is agressive, make sure that it is muzzled.  If you do not have a muzzle, always keep one or two on hand.  Your Veterinarian may suggest you put the dog or Cat on Intravenous Fluids.  Follow his advice if Intravenous Fluids are required.  This may be the only way to save your Pet's Life with acute Kidney Dysfunction.  The above  tests will help rule out Liver Failure.   We have found that Acute Kidney Failure responds best to conventional Veterinary Treatment at least in the Acute Phase.   We have used Nutrition most effectively with follow up in Kidney Failure Cases along with Antibiotics.  We have found that Antibiotics together with Evolution Diet, Vitamins, Herbs and Nutraceuticals provide excellent long term results.
