Eric was a physician in private practice using Vitamin, Botanical, Nutraceutical & Nutrition Therapy for Humans for 26 Years. Eric is not a practicing physician at this time, but he is still using "State-Of-The Art" combinations of Vitamins, Herbs and Nutraceuticals he developed to treat Joint, Vascular, and other Internal Diseases in sick animals that come to the Evolution Diet Rescue. It has operated in St. Paul, Minnesota since 1987. Treating the homeless & sick animals he has rescued, Eric developed numerous successful Vitamin, Herbal, Nutraceutical Procedures for both internal and external diseases of small animals. With some assistance from various veterinarians, Eric performs most of the veterinary procedures at the Evolution Diet Rescue in the Twin Cities. Every day, Pet People from all over the United States and Canada call him for help with their sick animals.
The Totally No-Kill Rescue provides shelter for both homeless and sick animals. Those animals that can not be adopted out are kept indefinitely in a home setting by Eric, Lynn and other volunteers.
Eric did his undergraduate studies in communications, biology, psychology, and sociology at Ryerson Polytechnical University, The University of Toronto and McMaster University. Eric also earned 2 Diplomats and a Doctorate in post-graduate Health Sciences at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota. Eric also received a National Board Diplomat for his Post Graduate Work in Health Sciences.
Lynn Crandall-Weisman, President of Evolution Pet Food Corporation (a Vegetarian and Animal Activist), joined the company in 1998 in pursuit of making Evolution the World’s Standard in Quality and Type. Lynn has a background in Business Management from the Metropolitan Technical College, White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She has been instrumental in the company’s growth in sales, new product design and development. Lynn has also been a tremendous asset in all the aspects of the Evolution Diet Pet Rescue.
